Playing music against the war

«Much softer and differentiated ... came along the performance of the young Russian. Nevertheless, she already convinced by the intro, set the harmonies within the right dose of dynamism, listened to the replica of the oboe. ... The soloist remained true to her line, clearly to the joy of the conductor, who supported her with the orchestra sustainably in her presentation.»

Solisten
mit Sinfonieorchester in Hochform
«Anna Zaychenko interpreted the Schumann Piano Concerto in A minor. And since the orchestra was still full of energy and beauty of the sound at the late hour, James Gaffigan lead the music according to any temporal freedom in the piano, the interaction was splendid. The soloist sensitively met the moods of the Concerto.»

KONZERTIEREN UM DEN PREIS DER STADT
«After the break followed happy moments with Mozart. Anna Zaychenko contributed with the Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467. ... The audience was also delighted by the soloist, who after a long exposition of the orchestra touched the keys, picked up the theme, interpreted it in variants and immediately brought up the lightness and charisma of this music in exemplary unity with the orchestra under the inspiring direction of Marc Kissóczky. The virtuoso aspect of her playing displayed itself in the "Allegro maestoso", the sonority and depth of feeling corresponded to the uniquely beautiful "Andante", and the hilarious, sparkling "Allegro vivace" was performed with furious passages.»

HOHE HÜRDEN FÜR MUSIKALISCHE TALENTE
«Musical Dessert ... After the lunch break, Anna Zaychenko (Russia) achieved an inexhaustible musical experience with Mozart's 21st Piano Concerto in C major (K. 467), creating a connection between virtuosity and expression together with her accompanist ... she let her soul be deeply absorbed in Andante.»

International Piano Competition «Russian Music»
«One of the most powerful musical impressions of the competition was the first Sonata by S. Rachmaninov performed by the 18-year-old winner Anna Zaychenko ... and mature, poetic, masterful, and multifaceted Tchaikovsky's Second Piano Concerto.»
